More information can be found at: http://k9resortandspa.com/daycare.

The resort and spa is a full-service dog training, boarding, grooming and California life enrichment dog daycare provider in the Escondido area. K9 has worked hard to reinvent dog daycare and prides itself on offering high quality, structured care for dogs enrolled in their program. This involves fun games, off-leash play, and personal attention while the dogs enjoy their stay.

Life Enrichment is at the forefront of K9’s approach to doggy daycare in Escondido. The daycare team supervises dogs that are rotated between small groups for play and activity time which consists of; off-leash play groups, one-on-one time with daycare leaders and fun activities that are hand-selected to stimulate the dog’s problem-solving skills. To sum it up, rather than just putting a dog in a large group of other dogs all day long, the staff will find out what a dog really loves and rotate his or her time among several activities tailored specifically for them.

The K9 Resort and Spa’s daycare and boarding team members are dedicated in their approach to providing structured activities throughout the day for dogs in their Escondido doggy daycare facilities. This includes training games, art projects, doggy bowling, and much more. Rest periods are just as essential to a dog’s emotional wellbeing as playtime. For this reason, each dog in K9 Resort and Spa’s daycare and boarding program is given private time along with a Kong toy to relax in their own suite for 30 minutes every couple of hours.

Penny, the owner of K9 Resort and Spa said: “We are committed to understanding group dog behavior and educating all our staff on safe, humane management processes using only positive reinforcement. We are committed to providing a day of fun and individualized care for dogs entrusted to our care and most importantly maintaining a safe work environment for our staff and dogs.”
