Orangetee & Tie Pte. Ltd., a real estate agency based in Singapore, announced the launch this weekend from 11th May 2019 of The Woodleigh Residences Condo. It is part of an iconic Integrated Development at Bidadari Park Drive.

A 180m stretch of the Bidadari Heritage Walk, which will be lined with conserved rain trees as well as food and beverage outlets, will run alongside the 99-year leasehold Development.

More features of Bidadari estate include a play area with a treehouse, two 5,000 sq m lawns as well as Singapore’s first underground service reservoir.

The project is being developed jointly by Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) and Japanese developer Kajima Development. In June 2017 SPH and Kajima Development submitted a top bid of S$1.13 billion for the much-coveted commercial and residential site, which is the first Government Land Sale site offered in the new Bidadari Estate.

Their winning bid worked out to a land rate of S$1,181 per sq ft per plot ratio (psf ppr) based on the maximum gross floor area allowed for the 99-year leasehold site. The Woodleigh Mall, the retail component, will not be sold because the developers will retain it for recurring income.

SPH chairman Dr Lee Boon Yang had said at the project’s ground breaking that: “We aim to transform this parcel of raw land into a much sought-after oasis for homeowners to live close to park-land surroundings yet enjoy the convenience of a well provisioned and vibrant mall.”

“Connectivity will be another key attraction, with multiple transport links such as Woodleigh MRT station and direct access to Singapore’s first air-conditioned basement bus interchange,” he said.

Prices for the condominium units of The Woodleigh Residences will start at $988,000 or $1,733 per sq ft (psf) though it was not revealed how many units will be made available at the launch on 11th May 2019.

Woodleigh Residences Floor Plan consists of two-bedroom to four-bedroom units for every type of household family to choose from. Each layout is carefully thought out to enhance the living experience and provide more comfort to the families who are going to live there.
