Weeds can very quickly get out of control, harming ecosystems and threatening the balance of nature. Invasive species of plants, especially, can cause untold damage to the environment because they have no effective native competitors, meaning they rapidly take over vast areas of land and wipe out important native species.

For these reasons and more besides, weed control has been an important part of land management for many years now. Without ways of suppressing weeds, projects can often get delayed and run over budget, causing cumulative delays further down the line.

Concrete Canvas Ltd. is an innovative company producing a revolutionary Concrete Canvas material, which is a vastly improved version of conventional concrete. This material can be used for many things, but one of the things it’s best at is offering an effective weed control solution that works in many different sectors including construction and agriculture.

Concrete Canvas provides an effective, long-lasting, fibre-reinforced, waterproof concrete layer to suppress the growth of potentially harmful weed and vegetation that might otherwise take over a site, attack drainage systems and preventing vegetation form damaging pipework over time.

Concrete Canvas has a wide range of qualities that make it an attractive weed suppressant method for rail, road, public works, agriculture and petrochemical sectors, such as:

• Durable and strong
  • Concrete Canvas has the potential to last for many decades once set, even in the unpredictable UK climate
  • This strength and durability can help to prevent corrosion and also withstand and supress vigorous vegetation growth
• Convenient

  • The material is provided in convenient bulk and batched rolls, making it an ideal, flexible solution for limited access sites such as those near railways or roads
• More eco-friendly and sustainable when compared to conventional concrete
  • Concrete Canvas is a low-carbon alternative to traditional concrete, m
  • The material works to protect the environment by stabilising the soil, preventing erosion and reducing pollution as well as suppressing weed growth
  • Because it’s very easy to install, Concrete Canvas is non-intrusive and its installation doesn’t damage the environment as much as traditional concrete or certain other concrete alternatives
• Good value for money and high-quality
  • Concrete Canvas offers a more cost-effective weed control solution compared to conventional concrete, making it an attractive choice for businesses to use
