The Lions, on the other hand, were without their own All-Star closer Kim Jae-yoon, who led the league with 35 saves but was ruled out of the postseason in October due to an upper body injury. The Wiz and the Samsung Lions are tied at 1-1 in the best-of-seven championship battle, with Game 3 set for Friday evening at Daegu Samsung Lions Park in the southeastern city of Daegu.
